There's no doubt in my mind that had this news been somebody at Sony quitting, there would already be over 100 comments in here by now.
Sony is on of the smartest companies around. it's no wonder they've been around for over 60 years. They take risks, and sometimes those risks pay off and sometimes they don't.
Sony has a hold on the gaming market, and they'll be damned if they lose that market like they lost the portable music market to the iPod.
